The cops came! Plus Vegas offer - tickets disappearing fast

Greetings!

For those of you in the States, I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. My husband is serving his 19th year in the Air Force, currently in the Reserves, and is in fact on his annual tour right now. I have a great respect for the effort and sacrifices put forth by our servicemen and women. Thank you, to all our military members, past and present!

Right, so we had an exciting holiday weekend! It was our son’s 2nd birthday, and we had a big bash at the park. The party was in full swing, with 40 people about to sing happy birthday and eat cake, and the cops show up with an irate lady who says we’re in her pavilion. We both had documentation saying we had reserved it… turns out the park had double booked the facility, and this lady refused to just be gracious and take the empty pavilion across the way. In the end WE had to move - but we had enough people that everyone just grabbed one thing, decorations and all, and the whole party continued without missing a beat. Everyone laughed as the cops posed for a picture (but declined a helping of turkey wraps and pasta salad), which is one of the funniest photos of the whole day. My son ate pretty much nothing but icing, the kids all had fun, and a good time was had by all!

It was a great reminder how turning lemons into lemonade makes the whole experience that much more rewarding - not to mention memorable!

So here, as I hand you a piece of cake, here’s the meat and potatoes, or rather, turkey wrap and pasta salad, of this post….

If you’re feeling apprehensive about any aspect of what it would take to fire up a GRN business, know that one of the MANY sources of help available to you are fun, yet no-fluff, learn-a-ton-and-turn-it-into-success team events. I guarantee you’ll be amazed at how many ACTIONABLE ideas you’ll pick up in a short time, this isn’t a bunch of marshmellow feel-good fluff. The next one’s in Vegas in July and tickets are selling out (14 out of 50 spots remain)… but I’ll GIVE you an event ticket when you join with me.

Secrets of Success in Phoenix

Would you like to know how a bunch of Internet Newbies generated over $2.3 Million in Global Resorts in less than 1 year?

If you’ve been thinking about Global but for some reason are waiting, let me encourage you to come find out at the next upcoming Global Resorts Team Summit at the end of April in Phoenix.
This conference is put on and is only for Team Synergy at large.  These conferences are one of the many things that give our team a distinct advantage over most online groups out there.  I’ve been to 2 (Denver and San Francisco) since joining Global and honestly, they were the best thing I could have done for my business.

Here’s a few quick vids of those previous conferences….

Denver (has some awesome success stories)

San Francisco and biking across the Golden Gate:

Unlike other marketing conferences that cost $1999 and are nothing but motivational jargon & speakers selling you products the whole time, this conference is zero fluff. The only speakers allowed are people who have marketed at least $100K in Global Resorts Product. They will show you EXACTLY what they have done to create their sales. You will be able to ask each speaker precise questions. It’s limited to 50 eager people and the early-bird ticket only costs $149 (and you automatically recieve a free ticket to give to a new or existing teammate). On March 31st, Single Tickets go to $299.
There were 50 tickets available - 10 remain

Schedule of Events:

Friday, April 24th:

4pm-6pm- Pool Party. Socialize a bit. Soak up some Arizona sun. Take a dip in the pool, and grab a quick bite to eat at the poolside grill. These times are usually where you get to connect and network with other top earners. Learn their secrets and show off your killer abs at the same time.

8pm-10pm- Drinks & Hors d’oeuvres in Team Synergy Private Suite [Dress is Casual].

Saturday, April 25th:

***9am-3:30pm- How to Dominate Global Resorts (speakers include Global Resorts President: Al Morales and some of the top earners in GRN, who are all on your team when you join). [Dress is CommonSense Casual]. *A light breakfast is provided, lunch is on your own.

4:00pm- Leave Legacy Golf Resort for Horseback Riding (rides will be provided). Your inner cowboy and cowgirl can be unleashed as we enjoy a 1.5 hr ride through the South Mountain Desert to the famous T-bone Steakhouse. Snakes, Coyotes, Cactus, and other pleasent memories await you. Cost is $39 per person with food on your own.

Secret Clue #1- Every Top Earner In Our Industry Attends

Global Resorts Goes To “More Heart Than Talent”

You may have heard that personal development is a VERY important part of your success in your own business, especially in MLM or direct sales.  I had an opportunity to attend a juggernaut of a 3 day-conference with Jeffrey and Erica Combs, “More Heart Than Talent”, in Dallas, TX.  Speakers and attendees included leaders from within GRN and without, with no lack of 6 and 7 figure earners.    I had some things I knew I needed a kick in the pants about… and boy, did I find it!  Here’s a quick 3 1/2 min video on the 5000-watt conference goodness.

I look forward to Jeffrey and Erica coming to Denver to do an event on Valentine’s Day, and am aiming to put 10-20 people in seats.  Details upcoming.

Are You Filling Your Well On A Daily Basis? More Heart Than Talent Conference

Invest In Yourself To Grow Your Business

Is your well full? Are you taking care of you first?

Sometimes we need to sit back and take a break. As hard
as that is for most of us, we need to do this or we won’t be
any good to anyone else in our lives.

Are you taking time to fill your well? Are you taking care
of you first?

Personal Development is a key that will unlock many
closed trap doors in your world.

Make a resolution to yourself that 2009 will be the
year you read, for at least 20 minutes a day, something
uplifting and motivating. Turn off CNN and the news,
and read something that can POSITIVELY impact your life.

If reading is not your thing, make a resolution to yourself
to do something for at least 20 minutes a day that will allow
you to take the time to take care of you.

You will see a transformation in your world and in the
worlds of those you touch when you take care of you first.

When I first heard this, it sounded very self-centered
and selfish. The reality is, the world
helps those who help themselves. This is a fundamental
Universal law that applies to all of us. Think of the
old ‘put on your oxygen mask first’ in the event you’re
in an airplane and the masks drop. You can’t help
anyone else if you can’t breathe! Helping others is
wonderful and noble, and we should of course do it…
be sure to feed yourself too!

I got a chance to refill my well this past week by attending
the ‘More Heart Than Talent’ conference, put on by
Jeffrey and Erica Combs in Dallas, TX. There was a
Global Resorts Network contingent there to be sure, but
the focus of the conference was mindset, not any particular
company.

I’d like to share some videos of and from the conference.

This clip was by far the most popular shown at the conference,
titled ‘Validation’, and is a reminder of how powerful giving
others what they want/need is. Fun and inspirational.

Here, my buddy Nancy Stuart interviewed me on
what I took home from the event.

Hope you enjoy the videos, and make sure to take the time
to fill your well.

Global Resorts Network San Francisco Conference - Oct 24-26 2008

The GRN San Francisco Conference was AMAZING… beautiful weather, great activities, great camaraderie, and fantastic training.

When you work from home, it’s easy to retreat into your little bubble. However, when a team/company conference is put on, it’s worth it to ditch the bunny slippers and do what it takes to go.

The conference itself was worth the price of admission (which was a measly $98, by the way). What’s so INVALUABLE is the informal networking and idea sharing with the others you meet there. Not to mention fun activities like wine tours through Sonoma (which I had to miss, darn!) and biking over the Golden Gate Bridge! (hint, that’s where a lot of that informal networking occurs)

The next conference is in Dallas in January 2009. I’ll be there. Will you?

Pay Plan Update - Great News!

Enjoy the following exciting news from GRN, dated Oct 17 2008.

Your first sale no longer rolls 100% up to your sponsor. You now recieve half of what a normal membership sale commission would be on your first sale. This means, if your first sale is a Plantinum membership, you earn $500. If it’s Gold, you earn $250. (this is assuming you came in at the Platinum level).

After your first sale, you then receive commissions according to pay plan as normal.

What a great way to get excited and motivated as you are starting your business!

Good News!

A short time ago we announced a compensation plan
enhancement in which a qualified Gold or Platinum
affiliate will make a commission on their very first sale.

Well if you haven’t noticed yet, the programming is
completed and implemented on schedule.

We are very excited to see many more people getting paid
With many more checks being sent out.

Coming soon is a new revised compensation plan
video reflecting this great new feature.

Be on the look out for this announcement upon
completion.

Enhancement for New Affiliates

Another reason GRN is such a great place to be….

You asked, we listened…

Siempre atendiendo vuestras peticiones …

Due to an overwhelming response, we have decided to implement an important enhancement in the GRN pay plan structure.

Currently, a Gold or Platinum Affiliate is not paid a commission on their first sale which is their Qualifying sale.

The change in the pay plan will go into effect on October 9, 2008. Gold and Platinum Affiliates will begin earning a commission on their very first (Qualifying) sale equal to ½ of the normal commission. That means a $250 commission for a Gold Sale or a $500 commission for a Platinum Sale. The other half of the commission ($250 for Gold and $500 for Platinum) would roll up to the first qualified up line Affiliate  (qualified to receive the commission). The second $500 or $1000 commission will be paid out as before to the second upline Affiliate qualified to receive a commission.

Of course, on all subsequent sales (sale 2 on) the commission earned will be the full $500 for a Gold and $1000 for a Platinum as usual.

We feel this change is an exciting enhancement to our compensation plan.

How well do you know your Global Resorts Network membership?

Planning your next vacation?

One of the highlights of membership, is the great
lengths we go through to seek out and create contracts
with beautiful resorts all over the world.

Part of our negotiation involves a price cap of a maximum of $799
for the week, encompassing any time of the year and any size unit.

This is a painstaking, never ending process which ultimately offers
you a service unmatched in the industry.

These properties include Shell Vacations Club, Wyndam, Worldmark,
Sheraton, Perennial, WIVC, Club Intrawest, Diamond Resorts, and
many other top resort destinations.

We have literally hundreds of thousands of “live weeks” available for
immediate purchase at any given time- including our newsletter specials,
hot weeks, endless holidays, specialty holidays, and our prime weeks.

…and because much of our inventory is actually pre-purchased, you’ll
enjoy some of the most highly desired, peak season inventory available
anywhere.
“Live weeks” are great.  You’ll love them.  But if all we offered were
live weeks, what kind of choice would we really be offering?

AOL says it best, “It’s only a deal if it’s where you want to go.”

The fact that we have “live weeks” is great, but this pales in comparison
to the service we offer through our extensive online registry.

Choosing your resort from the registry, and being able to select your
own dates and unit size, is a service two decades in the making.

Researching other “so-called” competitors is great.  We believe
it will only reinforce the superiority of our membership. Remember,
when doing any type of research, always be sure to read the fine print…
1) Are you able to choose the actual resort you want, or are you asked to
    select general locations instead?

2) What is the turnaround time for customer service to accommodate
    your request?

3) Do they pre-purchase any of their inventory?

4) Do they charge extra money for specific or special requests?

5) How convenient is it for you to make your bookings?
    (can you browse/book online)

6) Have they established a price cap for resort stays?
The more you learn about our membership and this industry,
the more you’ll realize, there really is no comparison at all.
Enjoy Life!
