Greetings!
For those of you in the States, I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. My husband is serving his 19th year in the Air Force, currently in the Reserves, and is in fact on his annual tour right now. I have a great respect for the effort and sacrifices put forth by our servicemen and women. Thank you, to all our military members, past and present!
Right, so we had an exciting holiday weekend! It was our son’s 2nd birthday, and we had a big bash at the park. The party was in full swing, with 40 people about to sing happy birthday and eat cake, and the cops show up with an irate lady who says we’re in her pavilion. We both had documentation saying we had reserved it… turns out the park had double booked the facility, and this lady refused to just be gracious and take the empty pavilion across the way. In the end WE had to move - but we had enough people that everyone just grabbed one thing, decorations and all, and the whole party continued without missing a beat. Everyone laughed as the cops posed for a picture (but declined a helping of turkey wraps and pasta salad), which is one of the funniest photos of the whole day. My son ate pretty much nothing but icing, the kids all had fun, and a good time was had by all!
It was a great reminder how turning lemons into lemonade makes the whole experience that much more rewarding - not to mention memorable!

So here, as I hand you a piece of cake, here’s the meat and potatoes, or rather, turkey wrap and pasta salad, of this post….
If you’re feeling apprehensive about any aspect of what it would take to fire up a GRN business, know that one of the MANY sources of help available to you are fun, yet no-fluff, learn-a-ton-and-turn-it-into-success team events. I guarantee you’ll be amazed at how many ACTIONABLE ideas you’ll pick up in a short time, this isn’t a bunch of marshmellow feel-good fluff. The next one’s in Vegas in July and tickets are selling out (14 out of 50 spots remain)… but I’ll GIVE you an event ticket when you join with me.
